I did a soap box for Ultimate Soap, went with a ‘Men only’ vibe to get attention and market this as a rugged soap for outdoors. Isometric render coming soon!!
This is a decal that went on the side of a ’69 Barricuda. I heavily modified the font for this. Need to remake it as the vector version has been lost!
Bought this old lifting coffee table from a thrift store and up-cycled it! Black base, white with pearl and iridescent mediums mixed in!
The quote I selected is from the song “Heathens” by TWENTY ØNE PILØTS, specifically lines 12 and 13 of the song. “Just because we check the guns at the door; doesn’t mean our brains will change from hand grenades.” The quote is essentially saying ‘just because you took our tools away doesn’t mean we aren’t still psychotic.’ This quote is referencing the motley crew of criminals starring in Suicide Squad, but it has striking parallels to national matters right now such as gun control too.

Isometric 30/30/90 view
Movie art from Suicide Squad showing each of the crew members.
Sketches to figure out the layout of the typography. This both was and was not helpful, I really needed to see it digitally with weight and fonts to arrange it properly.
This is 8.5 x 11 and fits 1/2″ margin capable printers. A full, uncompressed version can be found here for free. This printout will fit directly over a single-serve cereal box like the one below, which can be found at any convenience store.
Axel the Axolotl, a full time, always-ready lifeguard. He’s from Mexico City, hence his scientific name Ambystoma Mexicanum. They are critically endangered due to pollution in and around Mexico city, Axolotl are a delicacy, and were a main part of the Aztec diet. He doesn’t really tan, because he never leaves the water. He was created for a school project, my Technical Illustration class at Wake Tech in Raleigh, Nc. Sketches go from initial drawing, to 24 gradient meshes and a lot of shades of pink. First time I’ve ever used a gradient mesh, I think it came out great!
The last picture is not mine.
